Assembly of deprived was organized to assert peoples rights over land, water and Forest. This assembly became voice of peoples opposed the Government control over natural resources and those who advocate the people’s rights over the natural resources arrived in large numbers. The hall of trade fair ground Gwalior became the witness of this historic occasion on human rights day.

Neta Pradhan, a poor tribal man inhabitant of Panasapur of Nayagarh district had a 2 acre 66dec land. Lokanth Behera, Agadhu Behera & Sadhu Behera of Raipada village occupied forcefully his land since last 10 yrs. 54 dec land out of 2 acre 66 dec land in the hands of Gokul Bhata, Nakul Bhata, and Sadasiv Bhata of Raipada village. Neta Pradhan unable to take action against them because he is too poor and helpless. Now he is in Surat, working as daily labor for his livelihood.
