Assembly of deprived was organized to assert peoples rights over land, water and Forest. This assembly became voice of peoples opposed the Government control over natural resources and those who advocate the people’s rights over the natural resources arrived in large numbers. The hall of trade fair ground Gwalior became the witness of this historic occasion on human rights day.

Anadi Sabar a poor tribal is confused whether the nation means the politicians and officials or the nation includes the poor people like him as well. He is villagers of Mandar village of Damia Barbara panchayat a tribal dominated panchayat of Khurda district.
          Mr Sabar belongs to a forest village that has no revenue status. Though his forefather is living there for generation, not land patta or official land records have been allotted to them. Albeit the forest right Act has been passed in the parliament which guarantees a land holding to the people living in the forest, but the act means nothing for him.
          As per him the government is not interested to provide them with their basic minimum needs such as roads connectivity, health services and educational facilities. Now he has the faith in the longest ever Satyagraha organized by Ekta Parishad will yield some definite result for him.
