Assembly of deprived was organized to assert peoples rights over land, water and Forest. This assembly became voice of peoples opposed the Government control over natural resources and those who advocate the people’s rights over the natural resources arrived in large numbers. The hall of trade fair ground Gwalior became the witness of this historic occasion on human rights day.

This is the story of Rayagada district. Rukmani Gouda is widow having no land like a beggar. But previously she had 40 acres of land, her husband brought a loan of Rs700 from the society keeping mortgage his land and to meet the debt he again borrowed that amount of money from Simanchal Majhi of Analabhatta after that the  patta of 36 acres land forcefully taken by the money lender.
Bhima Bhuin was the farmer who was farming over the rest of 4 acres of land after death of her husband. The farmer claims the land is owned by him. Now the widow is helpless having no land.
