Forest land entitlement

Though Dasarathi Sabar equally concerned on getting over the right over his land as like other Satyagrahis. But he is more concerned on the theft by the guards.
Mr Sabar is a tribal man who lives in a forest village that comes under the largest teak forest in India. The forest is now being protected by CRPF, but in vein the unholy nexus between the forest mafias and the guards of the forest speaks a different story altogether. The poor villagers are forced to bribe the guards for mere collection of fuel woods.
As a forest village they are entitled to any land patta or any official right over the land. A no. of cases has been registered against the villagers for illegal encroachment of forest and destroying forest resources.
He speaks in clearer terms that actual protection of the forest can be by the people living there not by the official guards.
He feels confident that along with Ekta Parishad fighting in the Gandhian way with definitely yield some result.

As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world... as in being able to remake ourselves.
